At Moran’s Performance Detailing, we know that accidental paint overspray can be a frustrating issue for vehicle owners. Whether it’s from nearby construction, road work, or another vehicle painting project, overspray can mar your vehicle’s finish and affect its appearance. Our Paint Overspray Removal Service is designed to safely and effectively remove unwanted paint from your vehicle’s surface without causing damage to the original finish.
Paint overspray occurs when tiny particles of paint, lacquer, or other coatings land on your vehicle’s surface. This often happens near construction sites, during home or building painting, or even at auto body shops. These particles can stick to your car’s exterior, windows, trim, and other surfaces, leaving a rough, textured feel and an unsightly appearance.
At Moran’s Performance Detailing, we use specialized techniques and tools to remove overspray from your vehicle without harming the factory paint or clear coat. Here’s how we do it:
We start by carefully inspecting the overspray areas to assess the extent of the damage and determine the most effective removal method.
For light to moderate overspray, we use a professional-grade clay bar to gently lift and remove paint particles from the vehicle’s surface. This technique restores the smooth finish without scratching or damaging the paint.
If the overspray is more severe, we may use polishing and buffing techniques to restore your vehicle’s original shine. This process removes any stubborn overspray and leaves a flawless finish.
We only use high-quality, non-abrasive products that are safe for your vehicle’s paint, ensuring that the removal process doesn’t affect the integrity of the original finish.
Attempting to remove overspray on your own can lead to further damage, such as scratches or swirl marks, especially if improper tools or techniques are used. Our team at Moran’s Performance Detailing has the expertise and equipment needed to safely remove overspray while protecting your vehicle’s paint. Whether it’s a small section or the entire car, we can restore your vehicle to its original pristine condition.

I didn’t grow up dreaming about detailing. My pops had real deal OCD when it came to cars — spotless, perfect, everything done a certain way. And me? I used to run from that. If he called me to help wipe down a car, I was gone, already halfway down the street with my friends.
Life got funny though… because everything I ran from ended up becoming the thing that saved me.
When COVID hit, I caught it. It knocked me off my feet and made me rethink everything. I was working security making $10 an hour, barely surviving, and after getting sick I realized that wasn’t the life I wanted to go back to. So I quit — no safety net, no idea where my next dollar was coming from.
That’s when detailing came back into my life. The same skill I avoided as a kid became my lifeline. I picked up a bucket and a vacuum, and somehow that turned into my first clients. Then more. Then more. Detailing literally kept me alive when I had nothing else.
Now it’s my passion. I love seeing a car transform, watching a customer smile, and knowing I brought something back to life. I’m constantly learning new skills — paint correction, interiors, coatings — because I want to take this as far as it can go. Long-term, I’m building myself into one of the top detailers in my city, skill-wise and service-wise.
Funny how God works… He took the thing I ran from and made it the thing that’s building my future.
I’ve always had an eye for the small details, which naturally led me into the world of detailing. Over the past 6 years, I’ve turned that passion into a craft—focused on restoring, protecting, and elevating every vehicle I work on. My long-term goal is to build a strong reputation for quality and care. What I enjoy most is seeing customers light up when they see the transformation. My philosophy is simple: treat every car like my own, work with precision, and never cut corners.
